1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Beyond Walls, users agree to these terms and platform rules.

2. Platform Purpose

Beyond Walls is a prison correspondence and inmate discovery platform designed for communication through approved prison systems.

3. No Direct Messaging

Beyond Walls does not provide direct inmate messaging. Communication occurs through approved third-party prison communication systems.

4. User Responsibilities

Users agree:

• To provide accurate information
• Not to harass or exploit others
• Not to impersonate another person
• Not to upload illegal or prohibited content
• Not to use the platform for scams or fraud

5. Public Information

Some inmate profile information may come from public records or approved profile submissions.

6. Profile Approval & Removal

Beyond Walls Connect does not accept or publish profiles for individuals whose verified conviction history includes sexual offenses involving a minor, child abuse, child exploitation, grooming, trafficking of a minor, or other offenses involving serious harm to a child. These requirements apply regardless of who completes or pays for an application.

A friend, relative, advocate or other representative may submit an application only with the applicant’s permission. The representative must provide the applicant with the eligibility criteria and ensure that submitted information is complete and accurate. A claim that the applicant did not personally complete or read the application does not make an otherwise ineligible applicant eligible. Refund decisions depend on what was disclosed, the confirmations made, services already performed and applicable law.

Beyond Walls may:

• Approve or reject profiles
• Remove content
• Suspend users
• Investigate reports and safety concerns

7. Safety Disclaimer

Beyond Walls cannot guarantee the conduct, honesty, or intentions of any user or inmate profile.

8. Third-Party Services

Beyond Walls is not responsible for:

• Prison messaging providers
• Inmate transfers
• Prison restrictions
• Mail delays
• Account limitations imposed by facilities

9. Payments

Where payment is available through the Beyond Walls Connect website or other permitted services, payment processing may be provided by Stripe. Beyond Walls Connect does not store full payment card details. Payment functionality is not currently offered within the Beyond Walls Connect iOS app.

10. Intellectual Property

All Beyond Walls branding, designs, logos, and platform content remain property of Beyond Walls unless otherwise stated.

11. Limitation of Liability

Beyond Walls is provided as-is without guarantees of uninterrupted access or specific outcomes.

12. Age Requirement

Users must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.

13. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated periodically.
